MERAK

Merak is known as one of the major port cities in Indonesia, primarily connecting Java and Sumatra, with routes to other areas as well. Operating at the Sunda Strait and situated at the west coast of Java, the port handles vessels carrying both general cargo and specific supply chain cargo including petroleum, gas, steel and coal. The town of Merak itself has a number of sub-ports as well as commercial ports for passenger vessels. TLI’s Merak branch office covers all major ports in the greater Merak region.
